The top pictures and video on the top of this page show Morris Frank and his Guide Dog Buddy making the first test for Blind Human and Guide Dog walk across a busy street. Friends are with him watching as they walked. The walk was successful and the use of Guide Dogs for the Blind began that day. Morris and Buddy were great friends. There is a children's book telling their story. Morris and Buddy established; The Seeing Eye - The first Guide Dog School. See link above.

This school is recommended for its very kind treatment of customers, low cost training, loving dogs.

'Perkins School for the Blind' helps people with all types of blindness, vision, hearing... impairment gain independence.
Helen Keller (Deaf and Blind) was trained to communicate at the Perkins Institute for the Blind in South Boston, Massachusetts.
Later the Institute moved to Watertown, Mass. on the Charles River and is now called 'Perkins School for the Blind'.

We also donate to the local 'home town only' Animal Rescue, Humane Societies. They treat animal injuries, including eye injuries and provide good homes for pets.
We also help out the wild animals, birds in our neighborhood during the winter, times when food is scarce. Help injured animals.

I no longer donate to some of the famous Animal Rescue places due to corruption in their businesses; Killing 90% of rescued animals, then selling the body to the pet food industry with the euthanizing drug in the body. Pets get poisoned by this drug! They also store billions of dollars in their account and personal accounts, not spending the money to help animals. I have never seen their trucks, workers in any city, town. And I have traveled a lot. No number to call to help sick, stray pets. They just ask for money and tell you to call your local animal shelter. Their telemarketers were always calling me asking for more money even though I was sending more money every month. They would yell at me if I did not increase the money. I found out on YouTube and a major TV news station that they have billions of dollars just sitting in the bank and they hire donation collection businesses to mass market for more money. Please choose carefully. Donate your your local shelters.
