'The Cure Of
Imperfect Sight By Treatment Without Glasses' (Perfect Sight

Ophthalmologist William H. Bates
discovered the true function of the eyes, eye muscles, brain,
(visual system) and applied this knowledge to develop natural
treatments to cure unclear vision, astigmatism, cross/wandering
eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, and other eye problems, disease.
Natural Eyesight Improvement was practiced
years before Dr. Bates discovered it. It is the normal, natural
function of the eyes. The optical industry, eye surgeons
have hidden the truth about Natural Eyesight Improvement from
the public for over 100 years.
Ophthalmologist Bates proved that many
of the opticians, eye doctors, surgeons theories about eye
function/vision are incorrect. Dr. Bates proved (with his
experiments on the eyes, eye muscles, mind and his natural
treatments applied to his patients) that tension, strain in the
mind, outer (and inner) eye muscles, incorrect eye-vision
function (lack of relaxation, movement-shifting,
central-fixation, poor memory, imagination...) are the main
cause of unclear vision and other eye problems.
Dr. Bates spent his life working against these
dishonest, heartless doctors, 'businesses'. Dr. Bates worked
in his New York City Clinic teaching the public how to prevent
the use of and 'addiction to' eyeglasses, unnecessary
eye surgery and drugs. His
experiments, variety of cures for different eye problems are
described in his book; 'Perfect Sight Without Glasses'.

After Dr. Bates death in 1931;
Emily A. Bates (Lierman), Dr. Harold Peppard, Clara Hackett,
Margaret Corbett and other teachers, doctors preserved Dr.
Bates work, books, magazines and continued to teach the
Bates Method. Many went to court to fight for the right of
all people to preserve and teach this Natural Eyesight
Improvement method.

Optometrist Harold M. Peppard
(trained, certified as a teacher by Dr. Bates) and
'The Art of Seeing' by Aldous Huxley
(Blindness cured by and trained by Margaret Corbett, who was
trained and certified by Dr. Bates) but the books are still
in Copyright so I cannot copy/distribute them. I advise the
reader to read these books. They are often found for a few
dollars in used book stores. A couple old methods taught in
the books are omitted or improved upon by Modern Teachers. A
few techniques might be different than Dr. Bates original
practice. There are also old very effective methods in these
books that are not always included in modern books.
